Playtime Around the House!

The kids enjoyed making Christmas cookies, playing games, watching movies, decorating gingerbread houses, putting on a parade, and hanging out together. Probably the most fun of all was watching 6 adults trying to get a great shot of all 4 of them together!

Words of Wonder from my Kids

While passing through the casino on a recent cruise, J anounces, "Boy, a lot of people like to earn money in here."
"Will you ride bikes with me, R?" to her big brother. "Yes, if you stop talking."
While discussing introverts vs. extroverts, and labeling each of our children, J claims, "I'm an expert, not an intr - whatever." Her hearing must be going to the dogs since expert wasn't even a choice.
While discussing Joseph and his dream interpretations, J said, "I forgot to dream last night."
While giving J a bath she says, "Did you already use the air conditioner on my hair?"
You know you've seen too many people on the side of the streets when J says to grandparents during a car ride, "Do you work?" "No, we're retired." "Oh, so are you beggars?"
By J, "Hey Dad, I know how to spell DVD."
In the backseat of the car where most funny words are spoken..."Hey J, see how fat my leg is here? Then it gets skinny right here just like a T-Rex's leg."
"Paper traffic is the same thing as a paper jam." J talking about my printer
"What's it like to be 7 years old?" to R by J
"I wish we lived back in the olden days when there was no rain." (Really - there wasn't rain back then???) by J
"Bald people swim faster because people's hair slows them down." by R
